Non-Bumis: 36.6%, 18.9%, 45%, 100%? We don't really care.
Statistics can lie, don't they. By employing different methods to the data, you can interpret it
differently. So, what's the point of arguing. Just make it plain clear and tell us non-bumis the truth: Ask us not to list our companies here in Malaysia, establish a company in S'pore and open a subsidiary here in M'sia with Bumis as majority shareholder, don't export our goods
to earn foreign currency, don't expand our operations worldwide...just sit still and let our fortunes slide or transfer our assets overseas.
If you refer to Najib's recent announcement showing proof that Chinese in Malaysia were not marginalised, the proof is as such:
Now, if we twist the fact to the benefit of the non-bumis, we get this:
4437/796 = 5.6
2711/339 = 8.0
Chinese's per capita household income has only risen 5.6 times as compared to 8 times for the Bumiputeras.
So who is the one enjoying greater wealth compared to before?

If you refer to Najib's recent announcement showing proof that Chinese in Malaysia were not marginalised, the proof is as such:
Speaking at the simultaneous opening of the delegates' meetings of Wanita Umno, Umno Youth and Puteri Umno at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), he said the Chinese per capita household income had risen from RM796 per month in 1976 to RM4,437 per month in 2004. On the other hand, the Bumiputera average household income had only increased from RM339 per month to RM2,711 per month within the same period, he said.
