Bukan Mat Rempit!

The community's kinda split by LKY's comment so far, are our yellow skinned friends really getting marginalised in Malaysia?

Anyway, 1 group of ppl definitely didn't get marginalised so far but instead got an "upgrade" of their image...I wonder who?

I managed to get hold of a copy of United 93 the other day, the story about 9/11 and it's definitely a tearjerker but it makes the terrorists look really evil. All they show are the terrorists being very nervous, killing passengers 
without thinking and praying all the time. Very bad image for Islam I think...
anyway, I shouldn't be saying much about such things, it's way out of my league....

The movie's styled like a narrative where there are no central characters, and there's even an Asian guy (looks Malaysian I think) who just sits there, eats all the in flight meals and says nothing throughout the whole film!



But anyway, the movie makes you feel that you're really in that plane throughout the whole movie, except for the parts where they were showing how kelam-kabut the control tower, FAA, NORAD are and also a reference to the non-availability of the President and the Vice-President's reluctance to assume command of the situation on that day.

If you have 2 months before you start work and already had 2 months of holidays before this, what would you do?

Any suggestions?

I've considered these:

- Take a course and try to complete it in 2 months (language courses seem to be easiest I think considering the timeframe)
- Volunteer (but where?)
- Work part-time/as a temp.

Any more suggestions?

Anyway, just to share a conversation on how I somehow decided on the bukan mat rempit name for the blog:

English Ah Beng (EAB): Do you think Malaysia has alot of iron ar?  

Me: Dunno. Why you ask?

EAB: I think alot of things here very ironic man. Mat rempits get support and acknowledgements from a certain youth party, while the police have to survive on an RM650 salary...lol

Me: lol, true. But it's quite hard to stop this kinda things right? They all not scared of dying!

EAB: I think there's 1 way to stop all this nonsense...hehe!

Me: What?

EAB: Change the law to give us all the license to langgar all these mat rempits on the road!

Me: -_-???
